Sonja and Ursula Bettendorf are a mother and daughter team fulfilling the creative drive they have been developing for years. Sonja, a true creative spirit, serves as President of Tipsy Totes and her daughter Ursula excels as Creative Director.
As President, Sonja utilizes her artistic abilities to oversee new product design and development while assisting with sales and the production of custom orders. Ursula is responsible for all aspects of production and customer service. Her creativity aids her in the creation of new designs and the assembly and photography of new products. Ursula’s other duties include arrangement of custom orders, development of marketing strategies and maintenance of the Tipsy Totes full service website.
Sonja Bettendorf’s experience has amply prepared her for her role as President of Tipsy Totes. From the beginning of her career, Sonja’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident. She opened her first business at a young age and gained experience in a variety of fields including accounts payable, advertising, bookkeeping, childcare, residential real estate and tax preparation. Sonja’s wide range of skills allows her to easily adapt to new situations and she now applies this knowledge in her role at Tipsy Totes. An active member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Sonja enjoys reading mystery novels and spending time with her family, including her husband, three daughters and three dogs.
An artistic individual by nature, Ursula Bettendorf is a graduate of the first full four-year class at Las Vegas Academy. Ursula went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas with a degree in International Business and has worked in various banking positions. In 2011, she began exercising her creative muscles with the formation of Tipsy Totes, designing unique items with her mother, Sonja. A member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Ursula likes ceramics, traveling and, of course, enjoying a glass of wine in her free time.
